Banbury Liberal Democrats need your help! We have just run a VERY successful local election campaign where we gained three more District Council seats and are now in administration, running both Cherwell and West Oxfordshire District Councils! This included some historic gains in seats that have never before elected Liberal Democrat councillors. With the General Election coming so close after this hard fought campaign, our team and resources have been very stretched. We still put in an enormous amount of work and saw phenomenal results across Oxfordshire, which included Lib Dem MPs being elected for the first time in three neighbouring seats where we were also working hard to help our neighbours. We now need to URGENTLY replenish our funds to begin the fight for the important County Council elections next year. Our local party is defending and targeting seats, including the defence of the County Council leader. Unlike Labour and the Tories, we are not bankrolled by trade unions or big business. We rely on the generous donations of local supporters like you. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our campaigning and be in with a chance to win a fantastic prize!
